The Warrior Heir, written by Cinda Williams Chima, is a fairly good book. I'd say the book is a Fiction and has a bit of mystery thrown in. The book seems to really emphasize on the "Good vs. Evil" concept, to give you an example, just about every character you meet, the second you do meet them, you are able to tell weather they are evil or not.
The book follows a high school boy named Jack, and for a very long time thought he was a normal kid, though he had to take medicine everyday and he didn't know why. Until the day he forgets to take his medicine, and is close to killing another soccer player on his team! He is blown away to find that he was the one of the last surviving Weirlind's. Knowing that he is a Weirlind he begins his epic quest, as the two clans begin the search for his power, they are known as the White Rose, and the Red Rose.
The book is certainly a unique one, with very believable characters and a very interesting plot. The voice of Cinda Chima is very clear and she does a very good job making the book overall exciting.
All in all, This book was very good, I found that the book really could keep me "Sucked in" so to speak. Also Cinda Williams Chima really applied realism to characters, by giving them realistic emotions, and the characters do very logical things, which I enjoy in a book I would recommend it to any in search of a good fiction book. B+
