Twilight- Stephenie Meyer

Twilight is a world wide phenomenon. The entire world has been mesmerized by Jacob, and Edward. If you don't live under a rock, then you know the constant battles between Team Edward, and Team Jacob. Obviously the movies have been very successful. Most people have seen them. But what some people are forgetting are the books themselves. They are what started it all. The books are the best series I have ever read. The Twilight saga is my favorite because it's a timeless romance. A romance that has action and adventure. This book keeps you on your toes the entire time.

Twilight is about a girl named Bella. Bella is moving to Forks, Washington with her dad. She's moving because awhile after her parents got divorced, her mom remarried. The man her mom remarried is a major league baseball player so he travels a lot. So Bella decided it would be easier if she lived with her dad. She hates the constant rain and boredom Forks has to offer. She doesn't really like her new school, either. Everything seems dull, and boring. That is, until she meets Edward.

Edward, his brothers, and his sisters are odd. They are all foster children raised by Dr. Cullen. Not only are they pale, and undoubtfuly beautiful, they are also mysterious. Bella thinks nothing of them until she becomes lab partners with Edward. Every time she moves, he cringes and covers his nose. Bella being reasonable, thinks that she stinks. Of course, that's not the problem.

Bella continues on with her life. Not knowing why Edward would have any reason to hate, or dislike her. One night after she comes out of a book store, it's late and she doesn't know where she is. A group of men approach her. She tries to get away, but they block her. They call her sugar, and other uncomfortable names. She prepares to defend herself but all of a sudden, out of nowhere Edward appears. In his shiny Volvo of course. He halts to a stop in front of her, and orders her to get in.

On the car ride to her house, she demands to get answers. For example, why was he following her. He's hesitant to answer, but tells her he is a vampire who can read minds. Any regular person would say that's a load of lies. Bella, however has always known that there was something different about the Cullen family. Everything seemed perfect: he was in love with her. However there was something dark to how he felt about Bella. He craved her blood. Now you might say that he's a vampire, that is natural for him to. Bella's blood though, was almost impossible to resist. Even for a vampire like him who only drinks animal blood. So, can their love last? Or will this love be the death of Bella?

Twilight is my most favorite book ever! I would deffinitely suggest this book to anyone. Like I said, this book constantly keeps you on your toes. This book took me a short time to read because of how good it is. The idea of the book is exhilarating. The book can't be put into words. I have read The Hunger Games, and I deffinitely love Twilight better. The Hunger Games is really good, so that's saying something. However, I can read this book over and over again without getting bored. If you liked the movies, the books are one hundred times better! In conclusion, Twilight is the best book I have ever read, I suggest it to everyone.

Twilight is a good book! To me, Jacob is just a little bit too whiny... Great review though!
