The Hunger Games

Hunger Games by Susan Collins is the first book in an exciting series: The Hunger Games Trilogy. This book is about a post-apocalyptic world where every year each of the twelve districts of Panem, "The shining capitol," has to sacrifice two tributes to fight to the death to show that the capitol is still in charge. Only one will survive! This book can be difficult at first because, there are new imaginary words and pronunciations that you have never heard of before but, once you get past that you can't put it down. The main character of this book: Katniss is characterized very well, and while your reading this book you become close to her as a character. This book is in present tense, so it feels like you are actually there with Katniss. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense and adventure.

I haven't read Twilight but based on what Twilight is about I think I would probably like Hunger games better. But I don't know for sure.

I've read both, and I would have to say that Twilight cannot hold a candle to The Hunger Games. Sorry. :)
