Mocking Jay by Susan Colins

I really liked this book. This is the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy. Before you read this book, you must read the other two or else you will be completely lost for the entire book, and it will totally give the other two books away. Out of the trilogy it is my least favorite book, but it is still a really good book. This book is very sad and very, very violent, so if you have a tender heart you might want to think twice before you start to read it. But other than that, it is still a good book and I would recommend it to anyone.

After I finished Catching Fire (book 2) I had to start this book. Actually, I think everyone did. The cliff hanger at the end of the second book left me dazed and confused. I had to find out what happened next. This book while it does not have the games in it, still has a ton of action. I was so happy that it gave you the much needed closure that you never got from the other two books. The trilogy would not be complete with out this book.

In this book you are following Katniss Everdeen as she being her usual self. You are in her head rolling through the motions as she tries to stick it to the man, whoever the man may be. You pick up from the end of book two when Katniss's world is completely turned upside down and continues to get messed up in the third book. This book is so filled with twists and turns.

In conclusion, this book still has the thing that makes a book great. There is the needed romance, confusion, action, and Katniss still has her instinct to protect what she loves. Mocking Jay is a great book to conclude this amazing series. If you have read the other two books, definitely read this one, and if you haven't read the other two books, READ them. They are the best books I have ever read. I recommend this book to anyone but especially if you love science fiction books.
