Paranormalcy

Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White, is about a girl named Evie who lives in a world completely unknown by us. In this world, there are vampires (it totally makes fun of Twilight, it's totally amazing) werewolves, faeries, and who-knows-what-else. It's been Evie's job since she was 10 years old to hunt down these paranormal creatures and bring them in to the IPCA (International Paranormal Containment Agency.) Evie has a special talent, she can see through glamours. Glamours are like a second skin over a being's true form. They are often much more attractive than the real thing.
When a mysterious paranormal boy is brought in, Evie's curiosity is instantly spiked. The boy can change his glamour, but his true self is almost invisible. He looks like solidified water.
Over time, Evie gets to know the boy. She learns his name is Lend and she quickly falls in love. However, things aren't all perfect. Paranormals have begun to die all over the world. Paranormals aren't supposed to die! Something is killing them. Evie suspects her ex, an enchanting faerie named Reth.
It's a thrilling roller-coaster ride of emotion, I would recommend it to anyone. Grade A-

This sounds really interesting. One question, how can people date faeries?
