The Power of Six ~ Pittacus Lore

First off, this book has two stories. Two characters, two minds at once. The upside, we don't just focus on John, Six and Sam the whole time. Lore introduces Number Seven, aka Marina, who lives in Spain. Her Cepan, Adelina, has neglected their powers and background. Anything that Marina says that includes 'Lorien', Adelina turns her back and walks away. So Marina is stuck in an orphanage (along with Adelina) and trying to find the other Numbers. I love having the different points of view throughout the book. Its makes it more interesting. Anyway, John, on the other hand, is on his own, with Six and Sam of course. Henri was killed by the Mogs (Mogadorians) in the first book, so now they have to do it all themselves, avoid the cops, make up the fake ID's, look for somewhere to stay. They run into trouble at the beginning as the cops pull them over. Maybe running from them wasn't the best idea. Now the whole U.S. is looking for the supposed "terrorists". And when Six says that they need to return to Paradise, Ohio, John thinks that she's looking for trouble. Six explains that his lost Chest is probably there, since that is where the Mogs took it. When they arrive, they fall right into the Mogs trap, and get caught by the FBI. When they finally escape, Six proclaims she is off to Spain, as there has been suspicious activity there, telling them that another Number is there. She tells John and Sam to go look for their Chests that are more than likely hidden in a Mog base in the heart of a mountain. Here is where our heroes finally separate. And what happens then, I guess you'll just have to read it.

Once again, I loved being able to see both people's thoughts and feelings at once. It contains some pretty important information, and it totally makes it more interesting. That way you can see what is happening in both places. The only problem is that they swear a little bit, though not more than the first book. Bu otherwise, you'll probably love it, just like I did. Especially if you believe in aliens. :)
