Unwind.
What if your parents didn't want you anymore? Well, in this book parents that don't want their children anymore can sign a form to have them unwound. Unwind is a process in which all of your organs are taken out of you and given to different donors. Therefore, you are still technically alive, just in another persons body. Also, you are conscious while they are unwinding you. Wouldn't that be horrible to get unwound? Well don't worry you can only be unwound if you are between the 13- 18 so, if you make it to 19 you're alright.
This book is about Connor, Risa, and Lev who are all going to be unwound. However, these three kids are some of many lucky unwinds who manage to escape unwinding and find themselves with other run-away unwinds in a place called "The Graveyard."
The Graveyard is a place where unwinds are kept safe until they reach the age of 18 and can not be unwound anymore.
This book is a really amazing book. I thought the book had a great plot and that the suspense was great. The book had me keeping the pages turning to find out what was going to happen to Connor, Risa, and Lev. The only thing that was a little weird was that the book was written in 3rd-person omniscient, but I think that the way it was written really added to the story. Overall this book had many twist and turns that kept me wondering what was going to happen. I though that the author did a wonderful job of writing a fantastic book. A+
