The Son of Neptune by Rick Riodan

Percy Jackson starts off doing his usual thing, fighting monsters. But the only catch is that he can't remember who he is. By means unknown (which is really an old lady that makes him give her a lift up a hill.) he makes it to another camp, the Roman Camp. To give you some inside information, if you haven't read the Last Olympian books. Or you could skip down past these quotes. (on this camp and the Greek Camp. Both camps got in a huge fight, it was the civil war. Both thought they had destroyed each other, but the gods took the camps and put them on either side of the USA.) On with the story, Percy calls the gods by their Greek names and all the Roman Demi-gods or Half-bloods think he is very suspicious. He has to go to all these upper class people, and then he is given a quest. He meets two new friends while he is there and they come on the quest with him. One, Frank, he is the decedent of lots of powerful people, and gods. And Hazel, who has a very complicated past, and she is kind of like her brother Nicko, a friend of Percy's friend, but he doesn't remember him. They both have really tough pasts. And again, on with the story. They go to Alaska and see lots of mythical beings. But in the end they save the world, and return the gate keeper of death to the underworld with Percy.

This book was a great read! And Rick Riodan did a great job on this book! As a sequel to The Lost Hero, it was just as exciting and fun. I couldn't stop turning the pages! This is totally an A+ book!
