Brotherband Chronicles: The Invaders

     A young Scandanavian named Hal, along with his crew, have just left their hometown, Hallasholm and set out to sea to find a stolen treasure he was "able" to guard but taken. They get stuck in a storm and are forced to stay in a cove where they train and prepare for when they meet up with the pirates who stole their treasure or as the Scandians call it, the Andomal.

     While this is happening, the scandian leader or the Oberjarl, Erak, sends out a crew of Scandians to find Hal and his crew. When the storm settles they leave to get supplies and when they come back the crew of Scandians is waiting. But instead of taking them back to Hallosholm, they say they are there to help. 

     If i told you the rest it would spoil the story. Let me just say this is one of my favorite books and has a very good theme on friendship and overcoming fear. Also it has a theme of it is best when one corrects the problems they cause.

     In my opinion John Flannagan is one of the best writers ever and he has come up with another great series.
