Silvertongue

FYI!!!  THIS IS NOT THE FIRST OR THE SECOND BOOK OF THE SERIES!!!  YOU SHOULD READ THE OTHER REVIEWS HERE, AND HERE!!!

The final battle between bronze man and stone gargoyle beast is about to end.  This book is called Silvertongue by Charlie Fletcher.  This is the final book of the Stoneheart series where the statues of London come alive and duke it out for supremacy.  In the end of the last book, they defeated The Walker, but they also let The Ice Devil into the real world.  Now, George also has to face The Darkness which is another evil spirit.  Because George also never finished his duel with The Last Knight of the Cnichtengild, he has that vein of stone still crawling up his arm to kill him  The spits are also outnumbered because the Ice Devil can make as many minions as he wants, so the odds aren't really in their favor.  Not only that, but Edie will learn more about her mother and if she is alive throughout the book.
I think that this book summed up the story pretty well.  Though I feel that Ironhand was the best book, Silvertongue is good for its own reasons.  Because it is the last book, it has the most action out of all of them.  It also tries to tie up every single loose end.  I think the message in the book is that sometimes the truth is hard to accept.  In the book, when Edie sees her mother's heart stone glow (which means she's alive), she doesn't stop trying to look for her.  Edie tries so hard to find her that she won't think that her mother is dead.
If you have accomplished the task of reading the previous books, then I suggest you finish the series.  There is one thing I should mention though.  I thought the end was almost a little rushed considering a HUGE character comes back, but it is a good book nonetheless.  READ IT!!!      A
